- 2I do not copy answers from others, nor do I share my answers with others.
- 3I understand that violating this pledge may result in my submission being voided or my account being suspended.
Why the Honor Code Matters
In an online learning environment, the Honor Code is not just a rule - it’s the foundation for actually building capability. When you struggle through a difficult product decision yourself, you’re practicing real thinking. When you copy an answer, you’re only copying.
Product Decode designs quizzes and capstones to simulate real decision-making scenarios. The value lies in the thinking process - not the score.
What Is and Isn't Allowed

- Referencing course materials while working
- Discussing general concepts with others
- Using AI to understand concepts (not to get answers)
- Reviewing lessons before submitting
✗ Not Allowed
- Copying answers from others
- Sharing quiz or exercise answers with others
- Using AI to directly answer quizzes
- Posting exercise content on social media
Consequences of Violations
Violating the Honor Code may result in one or more of the following, depending on severity:
- Submission voided and required to redo from scratch.
- Formal warning recorded on your account.
- Temporary suspension of access to quizzes and capstones.
- Permanent account termination for serious or repeated violations.
Reporting Violations
If you discover someone violating the Honor Code - for example, sharing answers publicly - please report it via email. All reports are handled confidentially and the reporter’s identity is not disclosed.
Relation to Legal Terms
The Honor Code is part of Product Decode’s Terms of Service. By using the platform, you agree to comply with both documents.
